Ask Cowmunities with AI
Ask plain-English questions about neighbourhoods, school catchments, walkability, crime, flood risk, road noise, and home values from Claude, ChatGPT, or another assistant that supports the open Model Context Protocol.
Choose your assistant. Each option uses the same connector URL above.
claude mcp add --transport http cowmunities https://cowmunities.ca/mcp
It will be available in your next session—ask housing questions naturally.
Add this to
~/.gemini/antigravity-cli/mcp_config.json or the

Start broad, then ask follow-up questions to compare the trade-offs.
The connector can resolve an address to coordinates; find nearby development permits, parks, playgrounds, and off-leash areas; score livability and amenities; identify school catchments; rank schools and communities; and drill into crime trends and assessed values. It uses open data from municipalities, Statistics Canada, school boards, the Fraser Institute, and OpenStreetMap. Prefer the interactive Housing Explorer when you want to see the results on a map.
Estimates such as walk times and school-score proxies are identified in responses. Verify anything material with the original source.
